Each hand-signed, home-matted giclee print is prepared with care right here in my studio.
First, I take a high-resolution photograph of my painting - ideally outside at mid-afternoon on an overcast day - with the little color card for later color correcting in GIMP.
Then, I edit the photograph to be as close to the original painting as possible. I use Adobe Illustrator to clip the image to the exact size needed for printing.
Then, I send the file over to my husband, who prints it on our Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 Professional Photographic Inkjet Printer on giclee Polar Luster Metallic paper.
Then, I cut out the image, mount it on an archival-quality white mat, back it with foamcore, sign it, and slip it in a clear bag.
After all that, it's ready to ship to your door!
NOTE: The sizes listed are the only sizes I currently offer as signed prints. If you would like a different size, please consider ordering from one of the print-on-demand sites linked on the page for this original painting. The print won't be signed, but it will be whatever size you like -- and you can even order it already-framed!
