This crosswalk in Hellissandur Iceland is visible in Google Earth! It leads to a statue garden in which the statue, Bedid i von, sits (depicted on left edge of my painting). The statue, by Gr?mur Marin? Steind?rsson, depicts mothers and children waiting for their fisherman husbands/fathers to come home from the sea.
