My husband is constantly working on our retirement plan -- a pecan and fruit orchard and tree nursery on our property in Wynnewood, OK. As a result, he is constantly shopping for trees. This lovely photograph was taking in December of 2023, when we "popped over to Louisiana" to pick up some specialty pecan trees from a nursery there. We explored my mother-in-law's old stomping grounds -- Pineville and Alexandria (a.k.a. "Alex" pronounced "Elek") -- and stayed at a hotel in Alexandria. The morning light on the pool was absolutely gorgeous, so I captured this photo. The interesting hexagon pattern is actually a reflection of the curtains in the window!
