Actually, this canvas started its life as a faded piece of box store artwork rescued from the corners of a Guthrie antique mall booth. But with TLC, gesso, and inspiration, I transformed it into an original piece of art, just for you. Left unframed, the edges are painted red to contrast with the blue, blue Grand Canyon sky.
This gnarled juniper stands on tip-toe right near the edge of the mighty Grand Canyon. Apparently my phone's GPS location was not turned on for the photos I took of the tree, but my best guess is that the GPS coordinates are right about here:
